Jerusalem & Petra 2 Days Tour By Bus From Sharm El Sheikh

Two days excursion to Jerusalem and Petra from Sharm El Sheikh to visit their important sightseeings. Lunch is included in both days plus an accomadition in a 4 Stars Hotel on HB basis for one night.

Starting From
Adult 310£
Child 290£

Pick up time from your hotel at Sharm El Sheikh will be in the early morning. You will be transferred to Taba border by an A/C bus in a trip of 3 hours. After crossing the border you will find our tour leader waiting for you on the other side who will escort you for the whole day.

Then you will drive along The Arava valley until you get to The Dead Sea for almost 3 hours (is 8.6 times saltier than the ocean) where you will get a stop for 45 minutes to have a relaxing floating experience.

You will get back in the bus to go to The Mount of Olives to have a spectacular view for The Old City. You will then descend the mountain to visit Gethsemane where it is said that Jesus spent the night before his arrest. Then you will drive down to visit the holy city and you start with The Wailing Wall which is considered an important Jewish symbol.

After that you will make a tour on foot through The Arab Market “Souq” until you get to "Via Dolorosa" or "The Way of Suffering" which ends in The Church of the Holy Sepulcher, where Jesus was crucified, and is said to contain also the place where Jesus was buried.

In Bethleham you will visit The Nativity Church.  You will then have lunch at one of the local restaurants followed by some free time for souvenir shopping.

Finally you will drive back to Eilat border where you are going to cross it to get in Jordan, to stay your night in a 4 stars hotel in Aqaba City (Dinner & Breakfast included).

The next morning after the breakfast you will drive to Petra for about 3 hours. Entering to the city will be through The Siq on foot. Siq is a narrow gorge, over 1 km in length, which is flanked on either side by soaring, 80 m high cliffs. Just walking through the Siq is an experience in itself. The colours and formations of the rocks are dazzling. As you reach the end of the Siq you will catch your first glimpse of Al-Khazneh (Treasury) Carved out of the side of the sandstone mountain face probably in the first century BC.

Note: it is not permitted for the vehicles to enter the site.

After the visit of Al-Khazneh (Treasury) you will visit The Roman theatre which dates back to the Byzantine era then you will see The Royal Tombs.

You will have lunch in a fine restaurant.

In the second part of your trip you will continue your tour to The Hill of Al-Habis fort which dates back to Crusaders times, for a breathtaking panoramic view of deep gullies and uniquely colored rock formations.

At the end of the day you will drive back to Aqaba city to cross the Jordanian-Israeli border to cross the Israeli-Egyptian borders to go to Taba where you will get the bus back to Sharm El Sheikh
