The “Mount Sinai” or “Moses Mountain” is considered to be the holiest place we have here in Egypt because Moses had been there, climbed it up and received the Ten Commandments. Moses Mountain is 2285 meters high from sea level and therefore it is the second highest mountain in Egypt. On it you can enjoy unforgettable & beautiful view for the sunrise and the surrounding mountains.

You will be picked up at about 10.00pm (exact details will be confirmed locally) from your hotel by A/C vehicle, then you will drive to Moses Mountain (or St. Catherine city) which is far from Sharm about 230 kilometers and it will take about two and half hours until you get there.

There you will be escorted by a Bedouin guide who will show the way which is about 2 hours of walking then you will find nearly 750 stairs until you the reach the summit.

On the summit you will stay to watch & enjoy the sunrise. After taking your enough time you will take the whole way down until you get to St. Catherine Monastery which is located at the foot of the mountain.

In the monastery of St. Catherine you will see the burning bush, the church of transfiguration, Moses well and the mosque. The monastery opens at 8.30am till 11.30am every day except Sunday and Friday.

After the visit you will move from St. Catherine city at about 10.00am to be back in Sharm maximum by 1.00pm.
