For each of our tours there is a detailed description of what is, or isn’t, included on our site www.sharmsmile.com. Of course we can adapt each tour to your specific preferences and needs (but the price may differ). According to our values we want to guarantee clarity about what is included in each tour. Tour Prices:

All prices in this site (sharmsmile.com and our affiliates) are based on airfares, land rates and exchange rates in effect at the time of printing and on group rates of 1 passenger (customer) or more. All prices are subject to change without notice prior to departure due to major currency fluctuations, ie: changes in fuel prices and/or unforeseen economic circumstances.

 

Reservations, Deposits and Final Payments:

Please complete the Site Reservation form, with full names as they appear on passports, and email it to us (standard procedure included in the checkout process) with the required per person deposit. Receipt of your deposit shall act as your agreement to these terms and conditions. Balance is due 1 day before departure date. If final payment is received less than 1 day, a late fee will be accessed in the amount of $25.00 (unless specified to Sharm Smile of your intent to pay by Cash on Delivery). If final payment is made by credit card (Visa or MasterCard), Sharm Smile Tour requires a completed credit card authorization form (included in PayPal) or have the card on hand with valid passport for identification. All payments should be made payable to Sharm Smile Tour. We reserve the right to refuse payment for any reason.

 

Late Reservations:

If a booking is made within 1 day of departure, full payment plus applicable taxes and optional insurance is due at the time of booking. There will be a $25.00 late processing fee applicable plus cost of any express travel arrangements. Money order, bank check, certified check or credit cards (Visa or MasterCard) will be accepted.

Sharm Smile Tour has the right to cancel tours up to 48 hours after the reservation of the same, committing itself to the total restitution of amounts already paid.

 

Travel Documents:

A valid passport (valid for six months after the return date of the trip) is required to travel in Egypt. Visa is required for ALL passport holders traveling to some destinations; please contact our office for details. All non-Egyptian citizens must contact the appropriate consular office for entry visa requirements pertaining to their trip. In addition non Egyptian citizens are responsible for complying with requirements for re-entry into their country of origin. Sharm Smile Tour assumes no responsibility for procurement of passport or visas. Obtaining and carrying these documents is the sole responsibility of passengers/customers. Sharm Smile Tour will not be responsible for any delays, damages and/or losses, including missed portions of your trip due to improper travel documentation.

 

Final Documents and Ticket or Vouchers:

All documents and Ticket or Vouchers are only issued upon receipt of final payment and are sent within 1 day of deposit, full payment or Cash on Delivery. Documents and Tickets or Vouchers are not guaranteed if final payment and booking form are not received on time.

 

Air Changes:

Airline Tickets issued by Sharm Smile Tour are highly restrictive and in most instances cannot be reissued, revalidated or exchanged. If a change is possible, a $100 per person administrative fee, plus any applicable airline change fees, will be assessed once air Ticket or Vouchers have been issued. Airline penalties vary depending on carrier.

 

Cancellations & Refunds:

We hope that nothing will prevent you from taking your Sharm Smile Tour pilgrimage. However, should you need to cancel your tour must be received in writing, via email, sms, fax or by letter. It will be effective on the date of receipt. If you cancel your tour after you have received your documents and airline Ticket or Vouchers, you must return them to Sharm Smile Tour before we can process your refund. Some excursions may be subject to cancellation fees. Fees for custom groups and tours may be different, please contact us for details.

Sharm Smile Tour in cooperation with Egypt Joy Travel and their affiliates reserve the right to cancel a specific departure date or whole tour due to lack of participation or for reasons beyond our human control such as natural disasters, acts of war, acts of God or government restrictions. If such an unlikely event should occur, we will offer an alternate departure date or tour program. Should you decline an alternate date or should we cancel the tour outright, the limit of our liability to the customer is the entitlement to a full (100%) refund of the deposited or paid amount. We will not be liable, however, for costs incurred by you not paid to us, such as visas and passport costs, items of a personal nature, domestic transportation either by ground or air etc. nor will we be liable for any psychological damages, traumas, stress, disappointment, personal and financial loss resulting from our change of departure date or cancellation of a tour.

Sharm Smile Tour reserves the right to cancel any group tour if minimum numbers of passengers are not met. In this case, Sharm Smile Tour will contact the customers via email or whatsapp and offer alternative options within 24 – 48 hours of the selected tour start date and time. The options are credit for an alternative tour date, or a full refund.

The following cancellation charges per person will apply for one day or two day tours :

To receive a full refund for short tours of 12 hours or less, travelers may cancel up to 24 hours before the experience start date in Egyptian local timezone. No refunds will be given after that time period.
While for the tours which include scheduled airfares or hotel bookings, the below below cancellation fees will be applied;

Days Prior to Departure          Charge

- Up to 90 days prior            0% of total tour price

- 60  to 31 days prior           15% of total tour price

- 30  to 15 days prior           25% of total tour price

- 14  to 5 days prior             50% of total tour price

- 1 to 4 days prior or no show   100% of total tour price

 

While for Tour Packages or Nile Cruises the following cancellation charges per person will apply;

Cancellation should be received in a writing document by fax or email. In case the cancellation happened before 40 days from the departure date it will be subjected to 6% of the total received amount which will be deducted by the bank as a transaction fee.

In case you cancel your trip, the following scale of charges will be applied:

- More than 70 days before your arrival date, 15% of total tour price deposit will be charged.

- Between 69 and 40 days before your arrival date, 25% of total tour price deposit will be charged.

- Between 39 and 14 days before your arrival date, 40% of total tour price deposit will be charged.

- Between 13 and 0 days before your arrival date or no show, 65% of total tour price deposit will be charged.

Additionally, there are cancellation fees on all domestic flights within Egypt. If you cancel a tour at any time, you will be subject to any fees according to airline’s cancellation policy.
